| This cart isn't as pimped out as some but it performs. Bluff Road Choppers built a custom suspension, widening the cart 4 inches with heavy duty coil shocks, front & rear. The front A-arm geometry was changed to move the front tires forward maintaining the original turning radius. To keep the center of gravity as low as possible , the cart was only lifted enough to accommodate the suspension travel on 22x11-10 tires .Despite the added lift, the widened trac on the cart makes handling feel close to stock. The stock 10 H.P. 301 C.I. engine has been tweaked to about 15 H.P. with large boar carb, ported head ,high flow air filter and custom header. A high tork kit was also added to the clutch. It will haul four, 200 lb guys up a 20% grade, no problem. Top speed on flat ground with two guys is about 35MPH. Our shop also built the custom polished aluminum and diamond plate utility box with roll bar. The unit has internal wiring chases for roll bar lights and turn signals. The tailgate has a locking center handle with hidden pivot hinge and Baldwin latches. It opens 180 degrees to create a back seat for two people. Other Features include Poly-Planar waterproof marine CD player, two 6x9 Poly-Planer speakers, two 4 ½ inch Poly-Planar marine speakers, marine fuse block, stainless marine cigarette lighter, stainless marine toggle switches, water proof LED glove box lights, flush mount headlights, polished ITP 10x8 mag rims, polished stainless rockers and steering column, grant steering wheel, billet dash cover, fender flairs, 1 ¼ inch tow hitch and custom polished aluminum tube bumpers. 24 HP V- Twin kits and custom seats are also available. |
